The Miele PDR 510 ROP [EL] is a 8-10kg professional vented tumble dryer from the Miele Little Giants or Performance range, built for commercial and high-use settings where dependable drying matters. It uses a honeycomb drum, residual moisture control and a 36 minutes programme duration to deliver consistent drying while protecting fabrics. It is a strong option for commercial laundries, with a&f handling site survey, installation, commissioning, training and ongoing service support.
| Feature | Buyer benefit | |
|---|---|---|
| Capacity | 7kg load with a 64L honeycomb drum | Sized for everyday family, small-site or light commercial laundry, with the honeycomb pattern helping protect fabrics from wear. |
| Wash performance | Full 49-minute 60°C commercial cotton cycle | A genuine commercial wash, not a domestic quick wash, supporting high turnover without dropping wash quality. |
| Spin and drying | High-spin extraction with around 45% residual moisture | Loads come out drier, so the dryer runs for less time and uses less energy. |
| Durability | 30,000 Miele tested operating hours | Miele’s tested figure for the Little Giants commercial range, giving confidence in long-term commercial use. |
| Controls | M Touch Flex full-colour touchscreen | Clear, modern interface so non-technical staff can select the right programme quickly. |
| Multi-language | Programme menus switchable between languages | Useful in mixed-language laundries, hospitality settings and shared communal sites. |
| Load sensing | Automatic load control | The machine senses load size and adjusts water and energy use, helping reduce running costs on smaller loads. |
| Hot water | Hot and cold fill, subject to site setup | Where a hot supply is available, programmes run faster and cheaper, reducing energy demand on the heater element. |
| Compact footprint | Stackable with a matching Miele Little Giants dryer | Full wash and dry on under 0.5m² of floor space, ideal where laundry space is tight. |
| Payment ready | Optional connection via the Miele connector box | Set up for coin or card-operated use in communal laundries, helping recover laundry costs. |
| Dosing ready | Optional external dosing interface | Connects to bulk chemical dosing pumps for consistent results in sites using commercial detergent. |
| Connectivity | WiFi and LAN-ready (LAN module optional) | Supports remote monitoring and integration with Miele’s professional management tools. |

Buying a Miele commercial washer is a long-term decision and the price of the machine is only part of the picture. We visit your site, confirm the right model and variant, install and commission the machine, train your team and provide service support for the full life of the equipment.
Why buy through a&f?
- Free pre-purchase site survey across the South of England
- Installation, commissioning and on-site team training included
- Miele Professional UK No.1 Partner, with engineers carrying around £12,000 of Miele spares on each van for fast first-visit repairs
- Service contracts, rental and finance options to suit different budgets
Drain pump or drain valve?
Some commercial laundry rooms use a low-level gravity drain instead, which may require the drain valve version. The right option depends on your site layout, waste connection, installation height and laundry use. a&f can check this during a free site survey before you order.
Replacing an older Miele Little Giant?
A like-for-like replacement is not always straightforward, as drainage, electrical supply, controls, stacking kits and accessories may have changed. a&f can check your existing machine and recommend the most suitable current Miele model.
How much does a Miele PWM 907 cost?
Compliance
For foul, infected or sluice laundry, a different drainage configuration, hygiene variant or programme set may be required. We will confirm the correct Miele variant and any compliance considerations during the site survey.
