The Electrolux Professional TD6-17S provides two independently controlled 16.7 kg drying pockets within a single 790 mm wide cabinet.
Each 300-litre pocket has its own door and Compass Pro control panel, allowing different programmes or fabrics to be processed simultaneously. Choose electric heating for a straightforward all-electric installation or gas heating where a suitable commercial gas supply is available.

Services, drainage and cycle times
The electric versions require a suitable 400v three-phase supply. Gas-heated versions also require the correct electrical supply, a suitable commercial gas connection and installation by appropriately qualified engineers.
Both pockets discharge through the machine’s 200 mm exhaust connection. The exhaust route, available pressure, replacement air and room ventilation should be professionally assessed before installation.
- Electric heating: available with 13.5 kW or 18 kW heating per pocket in the listed UK variants.
- Gas heating: provides 21 kW of heat per pocket and requires a compatible gas supply.
- Airflow: allow for up to 600 m³/h of extracted air from each pocket.
- Back pressure: the completed exhaust system must remain within the manufacturer’s 400 Pa limit.
- Drying times: manufacturer reference times range from approximately 21 to 29 minutes for the listed heating options.
- Actual performance: drying time varies with load size, fabric, starting moisture, programme, airflow and filter condition.
Replacing an older model?
The TD6-17S may suit the replacement of an existing stacked commercial dryer or two separate dryers where the required capacity and services are compatible.
Important replacement checks include:
- Available footprint: confirm the 790 mm width, 1115 mm depth and 1940 mm height.
- Delivery route: check entrances, corridors, lifts and turning space against the complete machine dimensions.
- Electrical supply: verify voltage, phase, connected load, protection and isolation arrangements.
- Gas compatibility: for gas versions, confirm gas type, pressure, capacity and installation requirements.
- Exhaust system: do not assume an existing duct is correctly sized for both drying pockets.
- Replacement air: confirm that the laundry room can replace the full volume of discharged air.
