Product Overview
The Miele PWM 907 EL DP-1 is a 7kg professional front-loading washing machine from the Miele Little Giants range, built for sites that need genuine commercial wash quality in a compact footprint.
It runs a full 49-minute 60°C cotton cycle, spins to around 45% residual moisture for shorter drying times, and is built and tested by Miele to 30,000 operating hours.
It is a strong choice for private residences, housing associations, schools, hospitality and small commercial laundries where a domestic machine is not built for the workload.

Choosing the right machine
Is this the right model for your property or business?
Choosing the right commercial laundry or dishwashing equipment is not only about the model itself. The correct choice depends on how the machine will be used, the services available, the installation layout, compliance requirements and the level of support needed after installation.
At a&f, we help customers check these details before supply, so the machine is specified correctly and installed with the right long-term support in place.
What should I check before purchasing this machine?
The upfront price of a machine is only one part of the decision. In commercial laundry and dishwashing, the long-term cost of ownership can be significantly higher than the purchase price, especially when energy use, water use, detergent, staff time, reliability, downtime and service support are taken into account.
The best value normally comes from choosing equipment that is correctly specified for the way it will actually be used. Capacity is important, but so are the services available, the installation layout, the programmes required, the environment it will operate in and the support available after installation.
Before purchasing this machine, it is worth asking:
- Does this machine have the right programmes for how it will actually be used?
- Are the power supply, drainage, ventilation and access suitable for this model?
- Will it fit the existing space, plinth, stacking kit or installation layout?
- What service support will be available after installation?
At a&f, we help customers check these details before supply, so the equipment is correctly specified from the start. A specification check or site visit can help confirm whether this is the right machine for the property, operation or environment before you commit to an order.

Services, drainage and cycle times
Advertised cycle times are normally based on favourable test conditions and the correct services being available. They can be achievable, but the actual cycle time may vary depending on the machine type, selected programme, load size and the services connected to the machine.
For laundry and dishwashing equipment, factors such as power supply, water pressure, incoming water temperature, drainage, ventilation, heat recovery and installation layout can all affect performance and cycle speed.
If cycle time is important, we can help you understand the difference between best-case advertised times and realistic operating times for your installation, so the equipment is specified around how it will actually be used.
Replacing an older model?
This model may be suitable as a replacement for several earlier Miele Professional Little Giants washing machines, particularly where a compact commercial washer with a drain pump is required.
Common former models this machine may replace:
- PW 6055 DP – earlier Little Giants drain pump model
- PW 6065 DP – earlier Little Giants drain pump model
- WS 5425 – older Miele Professional Little Giants washer
Older model numbers do not always translate directly to a like-for-like replacement. The correct choice still depends on the existing machine, drain type, power supply, available space, plinth or stacking arrangement, controls, programme requirements and how the laundry is used.
If you are replacing one of these machines, we can check the existing model, services and installation layout before confirming the most suitable current replacement.
Compliance, hygiene and environment
Different environments have different hygiene, safety and compliance requirements. Care, healthcare, veterinary, education, hospitality, food service, communal laundry and high-use commercial environments may all need different machine specifications.
For laundry, this can include thermal disinfection programmes, sluice or foul laundry requirements, suitable drainage, correct programme options, dirty-to-clean workflow and infection-control considerations. In care and healthcare environments, guidance such as HTM 01-04, Health Technical Memorandum 01-04, may also be relevant depending on the setting, laundry use and level of risk.
For dishwashing, this can include high-temperature final rinse performance, simple operation, reliable wash results and selecting the correct machine type for the hygiene requirement. Some dishwashers and programmes, such as the Miele PFD 404 Hygiene, can achieve thermal disinfection where correctly specified and used. Classeq dishwashers use a high-temperature final rinse that supports hygienic wash results, but this should not be treated as guaranteed thermal disinfection.
Where water regulations apply, the correct product and installation must be selected. The key legal requirement is compliance with Regulation 4 of the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999. Compliance may be demonstrated through recognised approval or certification routes such as WRAS, Water Regulations Approval Scheme, Kiwa UK Regulation 4 certification, KUKreg4, or NSF REG4 certification.
The key point is not simply whether an approval mark is present, but whether the equipment, installation method and backflow protection are suitable for the environment, the water risk category and the way the machine will be used.
