Product Overview
The Miele PWM 507 DP combines professional construction, rapid programmes and powerful moisture extraction in a compact 7 kg washing machine that occupies approximately the same floor area as a domestic appliance.
The drain pump makes the PWM 507 DP particularly useful where the waste connection is above floor level or a suitable low-level gravity drain is not available. Choose the 230v 13A version for the simplest electrical installation, available in Lotus White or Stainless Steel. The Lotus White 230v 25A version provides a 5.5 kW connected load for faster water heating and improved programme throughput when the correct electrical supply is available. Hot and cold water connections are provided, although cold-fill operation is possible.
Suitable applications for this machine include Hotels & B&Bs, Housing Associations, Schools, Colleges & Universities, Nurseries, Private Residences & Estates, Health & Fitness and Commercial Laundries, as well as many others. For laundry containing significant debris, animal hair, mop residue or heavy contamination, a gravity-drain model will normally be more suitable.

Features & Benefits
Professional components, efficient water use and straightforward controls make the Miele PWM 507 DP a practical washer for busy organisations with regular 7 kg laundry loads.
7 kg professional capacity
64-litre stainless steel drum
A practical load size for towels, bedding, workwear and general everyday laundry without occupying the space required by a larger commercial washer.
Short professional programmes
59-minute manufacturer reference cycle
Helps maintain a productive laundry routine. The reference time uses hot and cold water services and will vary with the programme, load and site conditions.
High-speed extraction
Up to 1,600 rpm and 704 g-factor
Removes more water before unloading, helping reduce the work required from the tumble dryer and supporting faster overall laundry turnaround.
Drain pump flexibility
DN 22 pumped waste outlet
Allows connection where the waste is not positioned at the low level required by a gravity-drain machine, subject to the permitted drain height and site arrangement.
Choice of electrical supply
230v 13A or 230v 25A
The 13A model simplifies installation, while the 25A Lotus White version provides more powerful electric heating where greater programme throughput is required.
Honeycomb drum
Gentle textile care with rapid wetting
Miele’s honeycomb drum and perforated rear panel support effective washing while helping protect fabrics during repeated professional use.
M Select controls
Direct programme selection and clear symbols
Staff can select programmes quickly, view the remaining time and change the operating language when required, supporting confident use by different team members.
Load-sensitive consumption
Automatic load control and flow-metered water intake
Water and energy use are adjusted according to the load, helping avoid unnecessary consumption when the drum is not completely full.
Hot and cold water connection
Use site-generated hot water where appropriate
A commercial hot-water supply may reduce electrical energy used by the washer, subject to tariffs, system efficiency and distribution losses. Cold-fill operation is also possible.
Professional durability
Tested by Miele to 30,000 operating hours
Professional shock absorbers, a synchronous motor and a stainless steel flange support dependable use. The test figure is not a guaranteed service life.
Flexible detergent dispensing
Three-compartment drawer and liquid-dosing options
Supports conventional detergent products and can be equipped for automatic liquid dosing where greater consistency and process control are needed.
Connected laundry
LAN, WiFi and Miele MOVE capability
Compatible connectivity can provide machine status, notifications, consumption information, operating data and remote-support functions where available.
Technical specifications
Key information for selecting, installing and operating the Miele PWM 507 DP. Electrical demand differs significantly between the 13A and 25A versions, so the correct variant and available site supply should be confirmed before ordering.
Choosing the right machine
Is the Miele PWM 507 Commercial Washing Machine the right model for me?
The PWM 507 DP is a strong choice when you need professional reliability, a compact 7 kg capacity and the flexibility of a pumped waste connection.
The most important decisions are whether 7 kg provides enough capacity, whether the 13A or 25A electrical version is appropriate, and whether a drain pump is suitable for the type of laundry being processed.
What should I check before purchasing this machine?
This machine works particularly well for regular loads of towels, bedding, uniforms, sportswear and general washable textiles. Its compact footprint can make it easier to accommodate than a larger commercial washer.
Before purchasing this machine, it is worth checking:
- Load capacity: confirm that 7 kg is sufficient for your busiest periods and largest individual items.
- Daily throughput: consider the number of loads required each day and whether one machine can provide the necessary resilience.
- Electrical supply: choose between the simpler 230v 13A model and the more powerful 230v 25A Lotus White model.
- Drain suitability: use a gravity-drain washer where substantial debris, animal hair, mop residue or heavy contamination may enter the machine.
- Finish: Lotus White and Stainless Steel are available with the 13A supply, while the 25A version is Lotus White only.
- Drying capacity: match the washer to a suitable commercial tumble dryer and allow for the required overall laundry throughput.

Services, drainage and cycle times
The machine requires a dedicated 230v electrical supply matched to the selected 13A or 25A version, a suitable cold-water supply and a trapped waste connection within the permitted pumping height. A hot-water supply can also be connected, but cold-fill operation is possible.
The published 59-minute cycle is a manufacturer reference for the Cottons 60°C programme using hot and cold water connections. The equivalent cold-fill reference is 69 minutes. Actual programme times will vary with the selected programme, load, incoming water temperature, water pressure and site services.
- Electrical connection: the 13A and 25A versions are different factory variants and must be matched to the available site supply.
- Water services: provide accessible, isolatable water connections at the correct pressure.
- Pumped waste: confirm the drain height, route, trap and connection arrangement before installation.
- Hot-water supply: site-generated hot water may reduce the washer’s electrical energy use, subject to tariffs and system efficiency.
- Installation space: allow space for hoses, services, ventilation and safe access for operation and maintenance.
Replacing an older model?
The PWM 507 may be considered when replacing several earlier compact Miele Professional washing machines, but it should not be assumed to be a direct like-for-like replacement without checking the existing installation.
Relevant previous models may include:
- PW6055
- PW6065
- PW5064
- WS5425
- WS5405
- WS5105
- WS5426
- WS5406
- W406
Check the old machine’s drain type, electrical supply, dimensions, water connections, stacking arrangement and programme requirements. An existing drain-pump connection does not necessarily mean a drain-pump replacement is right if the laundry now includes substantial debris or heavier contamination.
Compliance, hygiene and environment
The PWM 507 includes high-temperature programmes, temperature monitoring and hygiene-related programme features. However, hygiene outcomes depend on correct machine selection, programme configuration, detergent, loading, segregation, safe handling, staff procedures and appropriate validation.
A drain-pump machine is not normally the preferred choice for sluice washing, foul laundry, double-incontinence items, animal hair, equestrian textiles or mop processing. Where these conditions apply, discuss a suitable drain-valve or gravity-drain model with a&f.
- Programme setup: confirm the required temperatures, holding times and detergent process for the intended textiles.
- Validation: use appropriate monitoring and documented procedures wherever a validated hygiene process is required.
- Clean and dirty workflow: prevent recontamination through suitable segregation, handling and storage.
- Drain protection: keep unsuitable debris and foreign objects out of the machine to protect the drain pump.
- Resource use: load-sensitive water intake and high-speed extraction can help reduce unnecessary water, electricity and downstream drying demand.
